SEVERAL dog triallists from this region were knocked off leaderboards yesterday at the Tux North Island New Zealand championships in Northland but several others came on.
At the 4pm call yesterday afternoon Manutuke’s Ruie Bridge and his dog Max had joined the top seven in the long head.

Cash, another of his dogs, also remained in the leading group in the straight hunt.
Tolaga Bay’s Leo Edginton and Larry and Henry Gaddum and Ming from Ruakituri were in the top seven in the short head and yard.
In the zig zag hunt Whatatutu’s Allen Irwin and Dan, and Anthony Hughes and Chop, were in.
