More than 60 nominations have been received for the Eastland Forestry Awards 2021.
Awards organiser Eastland Wood Council is rapt with the response, which covers the full range of categories.
“It is really gratifying to see so many worthy nominees for this important event which brings the Eastland forestry workforcetogether to acknowledge the heroes of our industry and celebrate excellence,” says EWC chief executive Philip Hope.
A run of entries was received in the final week prior to the closing date.
The biennial awards will be staged on Friday, May 21, at the Showgrounds Park Event Centre.
