A FARM worker was flown to Gisborne Hospital from Tiniroto on Friday after a chainsaw he was operating hit his leg.
The ECT rescue helicopter was called out at 3pm.
“The chopper flew to Strathleven Station near Bushy Knoll at Tiniroto,” a chopper spokeswoman said.
“The farm worker had dropped
the chainsaw that thankfully was not running at the time.
“He suffered serious lacerations to one of his legs.”
