There were two short power outages in Gisborne’s central business district yesterday morning.
Eastland Network’s Brent Stewart said an 11kV cable fault between the Plunket and library substations meant parts of the CBD were briefly without power.
About 400 connections were affected, including the courthouse and the police station.
TheGisborne Herald court reporter said proceedings were interrupted twice.
