About 200 homes lost power for about two hours yesterday.

“There was a fault in the area (Hauroa Road) which took the power out to the area of Grant Road at 1.44,” an Eastland Netowrk spokeswoman. “It was put back on at 1.55pm, but that created another issue which took the power out again.

“This was repaired and all power was restored at 3.30pm.”
