Power out for part of Flats

About 400 homes around the Patutahi and Hexton areas were without power this morning but Eastland Network restored power quickly to most properties.

“We had a bit of an issue at Kirkpatrick Road, Patutahi, with an insulator that failed,” said Eastland Network energy manager Brent Stewart.

“There was an outage to about 400 people. Most are now back on but we still have a bit of work to do.”
