Pool complex closes again

Ongoing issues with the boiler at the Olympic Pool forced the closure of the pool complex for the second time in a week yesterday afternoon.

The pool was shut from 2pm yesterday after the pool temperature got down to a chilly 23.8 degrees.

“We apologise for any inconvenience,” pool management said in an email yesterday afternoon.

The pool complex was closed last week due to the same problem, was finally reopened late in the week and was open through the weekend.
