His funeral will take place at his home in Moana Road from 11am, with the actual service at midday, on Saturday.
“Following the service we will continue with a celebration of Alan,” the family said.
“In honouring Alan’s life and the joy he brought to us all, we would like to encourage people to dress in colour.
“We love you, we do, forever.”
