Fiesta was epic, the best Heart of Gisborne event yet, says HofG manager Lana Davy.

“There was a perfect balance of weather, food, entertainment and people,” she said.

“Thank you to all the vendors who turned up and supplied wicked food, beverages, kids activities, stalls and entertainment and to Gizzy for coming out in the 1000s once again.

“To my bar staff, security and fundraising teams, volunteers, and not to mention the husbands crew and kids crew, you all did a fantastic job and this wouldn’t have been a success without you.”

Ms Davy said a big thank you also to the behind-the- scenes people who promoted online, handed out flyers and helped out.

Entertainment crew team leader Wendy Wallace and family did an incredible job, Ms Davy said.

“You are incredible. So organised and bringing a fantastic spread of entertainment. Everyone who hit that stage rocked it.”

Ms Davy said her ‘A” team, Hailey Keepa and Annemarie Mua, were outstanding.

“The dedication and effort you two put into these events is outstanding. Your passion for bringing these events to our community makes me so proud of us.

“You take a heavy job and make it lighter and a lot more fun.”

Ms Davy is now looking toward Kai (the Easter edition) and Fiesta next year.
