Save A friendly cat that popped in daily to visit Tairawhiti Museum was even able to open the automatic doors by herself.
The bold cat would wander about the museum’s exhibition spaces before visiting Exhibit Cafe, where she made herself comfortable on people’s laps.
She was well-received, and had a very
sweet nature, said Tairawhiti director Eloise Wallace.
However, as much as everyone enjoyed seeing the cat it was just not going to work having her live at the museum, she said.
“We knew she would be much happier in someone’s home.
