One of two men (both guests at the party) seriously injured during the fatal fight has been discharged from hospital. The other man, previously listed as critical in ICU, is no longer in critical condition.
The Herald understands he has been moved to a general ward and is in a stable condition.

Kane Te Paa was laid to rest at Anaura Bay yesterday after his tangi concluded.
The final arrangements for Chrysler Stevens-Mark have not been made public.
Police continue their highly visible presence in Gisborne as reassurance patrols continue in the wake of the tragedy.
“Out-of-town police are still here supporting local staff and that will continue next week,” Det Insp de Lange said.
