Operating in the shadows

It is highly ironic in a country where the Govt of the day conceived and funds an outfit to spy on the people, namely the Disinformation Project, we have another govt media outlet freely pedalling disinformation to the public.
That outfit is RNZ, and as it was reported last week this activity has been going on for some years. Worse is they have recently received a further $25 million from Minister Jackson in govt funding.
Because this Govt operates so much in the shadows, it is hard to determine whether this funding is to continue to gaslight the public subversively, or to open a sister radio station Moscow Radio.
If the latter, we would at least then know the expected bias in the reporting.
