She reassured everyone that it’s business as usual for Plunket services in the region.
“We have a wonderful team here with two kaiāwhina Mona Bradley and Jelaire Poi and community injury prevention coordinator Norma Hooks, as well as our Plunket nurses Kaye and Lilian Jackson.
“I would like to thank the Gisborne community for their patience and understanding while we’ve worked hard to recruit for the vacant nursing positions we had.
“Despite the national nursing shortage crisis, we look forward to having a full team soon, as well as a new nurse for Wairoa,” Mrs Kingsford said.
