Wharves 7 and 8 are “two-up” at Eastland Port with logs and kiwifruit going on board the Blue Cecil and the Snow Flower.

“The logger will take about 26,000 tonnes for China,” a ship agent said.

“The Snow Flower is on her maiden voyage, having just come from the shipbuilders in Japan as a specialised reefer ship. She will load 1400 pallets of kiwifruit here.”

Eastland Port said it hoped to get two log ships in together at docks 7 and 8 on Monday.
