A109 Light Utility Helicopter flight with mayor Gisborne City from the air in November 2023.
Opinion
Recently my wife and I were enjoying a stroll along the old sea wall when my wife tripped on a raised part of the pathway, falling heavily and fracturing her left shoulder.
We would like to thank the Waikanae junior lifeguards who raced to her assistance, the St John’s ambulance
personnel and the staff at the hospital.
A huge thanks to the Gisborne District Council who immediately took steps to repair the uneven concrete that caused her accident and for the personal visit to our home to reassure us that action was taken and for keeping us informed of their progress.
As only recently having moved to Gisborne, we want to say how impressed we have been with the agencies that have assisted us and we look forward to getting out and enjoying this lovely city again in the near future.
