THE woman who died in a crash ?on Friday afternoon on State Highway 2 near the Mohaka viaduct at Raupunga, south of Wairoa, was 65-year-old ?Judith Shadbolt from Wairoa.
The car she was driving left ?the highway and crashed into a ?bank.
She died at the scene.
A police seriouscrash inquiry into the accident was started immediately and continues.
The crash was about half an hour before the start of the Labour Weekend road toll period.
