A SERIES of hui throughout the district will provide advice and support to Maori landowners this week.
Delivered by the Maori Land Service, the hui are intended to offer Maori landowners, trustees and committee members advice and support on land productivity and administration systems.
The first hui was held yesterday
at Muriwai Marae for Ngai Tamanuhiri and Rongowhakaata landowners. Today’s meeting is at Mangatu Marae for Te Aitanga-a-Mahaki landowners.
A further three hui will be held on Thursday for landowners of the Ngati Porou catchment:
Te Tini o Porou from 7.30-9.30am;Uepohatu Marae, Ruatoria from noon-2pm,Hinerupe Marae at Te Araroa from 4-6pm.
