Mangaheia Station at Tolaga Bay were the winners in the Turihaua Angus Supreme Heifer Challenge.

Competition convener Paul Williams presented the winner's award to Leo Edginton from Mangaheia. The farm's heifers were described as a very even line.

Meanwhile, Amberly Farms at Wainui took out the trio “on the hook” prize in the Ovation Chilled Lamb Competition at the Spring Show, with Te Rama Newby from Manutuke winning the overall individual lamb carcase prize.
