EASTLAND Kart Club’s season ended on Sunday with drivers chasing last-chance points.

Perfect weather and a massive turnout made for good racing.

In the junior restricted class, Tate Wilson, who has improved all season, ended up first-equal with Kyle Seabrook.

Also in this class, Conor and Toby White have been getting better with each meeting. Their karts have amazing paint jobs and are a credit to them.

This was the last meeting in the young guns class for Tyler Michie and Callum Kemp, who will move up to the pro class next season.

It was good to see club crazyman Jason Hailes back in the pro class flying his New Zealand flag on the back of his kart.

In the KT class, visitor Paul Mabey of Pukehina took the honours.

Club members are looking forward to the prize-giving at the Emerald Hotel on Saturday, June 11, with four-time Bathurst 1000 winner Greg Murphy as guest speaker.
