  • Sequence Surf Shop Gisborne Junior Pro. Two-day event showcasing some of New Zealand’s best up-and-coming surf talent. Saturday and Sunday, 8am – 5pm, Red Bus, Makorori Beach.
  • Rosie Symes exhibition at Matawhero Art Gallery. A selection of detailed illustrations combined with mixed media pieces, thoughtful textures, organic forms and moments of quiet connection. Matawhero Winery, 189 Riverpoint Rd.
  • Zine-making workshop with Clare Milne. Get crafty and learn how to make your own zine (small-circulation, self-published work). All materials are provided but bring your own sketchbook, photos or collage bits to make it more personalised.
