It saddens me that our beautiful country is no longer under God’s blessing.

Our National Anthem has the most honouring and beautiful words as a prayer to God — the one who provides all good things.

Verse 1 of the anthem begins:

“God of nations at thy feet, in the bonds of love we meet.”

We as a nation do not choose this simple truth. We are becoming more divided and hateful with every new idea that comes in.

The honour that New Zealand is showing to these stars in the sky, made by God, is so sad.

When we choose to worship and honour other gods, He backs off. He made us with a free will to choose who we worship, and He respects that choice. So as God the creator backs off, so do all His blessings and protection.

We are now worshipping the created rather than the Creator.

Get ready for many more hard times, people, as these stars will not give us our hopes and dreams for a prosperous season. God has lifted His hand off our nation, just as you wanted. We are no longer Godzone.

The nearest the area previously got to achieving a zero road toll was one death in 2015.
