May I congratulate Catherine Mullooly for her outstanding world record achievement in shearing on Wednesday, smashing the world record Amy Silcock set on Sunday.
To shear over 400 ewes in one day is a remarkable feat by anyone, let alone a woman. You have surely put Matawai on the map.As you know, shearing isn’t an easy job — especially when a sheep doesn’t sit still.
Let’s hope this world record stands because you deserve every accolade. So well done. You’re a legend Catherine.
