A woman has been charged with drink-driving after a car left Aberdeen Rd and hit a large roadside tree on Tuesday night, police said.
The incident occurred at the city end of Aberdeen Rd/ at around 11.20pm.
The Ford sedan reportedly lost control, narrowly avoiding the frontage of a housebefore veering back and hitting the tree with the car’s front right corner.
The damaged vehicle remained in place, completely blocking the footpath yesterday, up against the front fence of a property. Photo / Murray Robertson
