The summer Nipper action starts for the three Gisborne surf lifesaving clubs tomorrow morning when they begin their junior surf programmes.

“We can’t wait to see you on the beach on Sunday,” is the message from all three clubs. Kaiaponi Farms Waikanae start theirs at 9.30am, Dawson Building Midway and Riversun Wainui at 10am, for children aged 4-5 up to age 14.

“Nippers is all about teaching our young beach enthusiasts important lifesaving skills while having a blast in the sun and surf, with fun activities focused on an authentic surf lifesaving environment.”
