Gisborne is attracting visitors from across the country, drawn to its sandy beaches, great parks and sunny days.
The MetService has forecast more of the same this week with a 31 degree high for tomorrow followed by a possible reprieve on Thursday when occasional rain develops in the afternoon with
a southeast change in the wind.
Friday will be cooler with clouds and a high of just 21 but Saturday is forecast to be mainly fine with a high of 25 and northwest breezes.
