The Te Moana Glow Show is coming to Gisborne on October 22 and 23.

Te Moana Glow Show is this year's new twist on the popular Matariki Glow Show, a glow-in-the-dark theatre show seen by over 21,000 children in 2019.

The show will “bring a magical Te Reo Maori theatre experience for children aged 2 to 10 years old.”

It features more than 45 giant-scale, glow-in-the-dark puppets under ultraviolet light in a black box theatre.

“It is rich in te reo Maori and a wonderful opportunity for New Zealand children to learn about elements of Maori myth and legend in an entertaining way,” a spokesperson said.
