Fill gallery with fine art

Opinion

I recently visited the Tairāwhiti Museum and Art Gallery and noticed there was finally some activity going on in the Professor Jack Richards gallery after months of it standing empty. 
Please, please do not fill this with cheap Kiwiana or the like. Respect this gallery which was a gift from Professor Richards and fill it with the finest art. The museum has a wonderful permanent collection which has been added to for many years. This would be the perfect opportunity to put it on display.
I need support please. Can we have some more “me too” letters from local artisans.
