Despite the decades of climate change warnings, deniers continue to ignore the obvious. Facts have never been more important.

As the world warms, scientists say that abrupt shifts in weather patterns — droughts followed by severe floods, or sudden and unseasonable fluctuations in temperature — are intensifying, adding yet another climate-related threat that is already affecting humans and the natural world.

Climate change is increasing the frequency and intensity of extreme weather events, and those impacts will continue to worsen in the future.

The ever more frequent news items are urgent alerts that it is wake-up time. Let us all react, please.
