The Enterprise Swim Centre has closed until near the end of the month for refurbishment work and maintenance. A pool spokesman said the work was overdue.
“Hopefully we will be reopening on April 29 if all goes to plan. We are renewing the starting blocks, installed in l985, and replacing
them with the latest model. The sides and ends of the pool will be repainted and there will be some concrete work done to fit the new starting blocks.”
