The Makaraka Store was closed yesterday after thieves broke in in the early hours and got away with a range of different products.

Police are following strong lines of inquiry in their investigation into a burglary at the Makaraka Store early yesterday morning.
The intruders broke into the store through the front door, activating alarms, at around 1.30am.
“They took a range of products from inside the shop before leaving in a silver
coloured Subaru Forester stationwagon,” said Detective Sergeant Brent Griffiths.
“The vehicle used in the burglary was stolen from an address in Whataupoko earlier in the night.”
Det Sgt Griffiths said police were were looking for four offenders.
