Cedenco’s annual sweetcorn harvest has been under way for a week and agronomy manager David Oudes says the crop quality has been “better than expected”.

Harvesters were busy at work at Poynter Road in Te Karaka yesterday.

“We  anticipate harvesting of the crop will continue through until mid-April. We’re running a 100-day season.”
