The latest Covid-19 update from Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand Tairāwhiti shows case numbers are trending downward with the daily average at just over 12.3.

Between eight and 23 cases were reported as of Friday last week. No one was in Gisborne Hospital  with Covid.

“If you are feeling sick, please stay home and test yourself,” a Health NZ Tairāwhiti spokeswoman said.

“You must isolate for seven days if you test positive.

“Please report your results online or call 0800 222 478 — it’s very important we track the spread of the virus.
