POLICE have an inquiry under way into an incident that involved a cyclist and a passing truck and trailer unit on SH35 at Makorori yesterday afternoon.

Police were called about the incident at around 3pm.

“The cyclist was not injured in the incident,” a police spokesman said.

“We are inquiring into whether or not he was actually struck, or whether he was blown off his bike by the passing truck and trailer unit.”
