It was too wet again this morning for Waka Kotahi contractors to carry out a culvert replacement job at the trouble spot on State Highway 2 just north of Matawai.
The NZTA announced at 10am that the planned two-hour road closure at the site had been called off again. Itwas called off yesterday too.
The work has been postponed to next Wednesday, again between 10am and 12 midday.
