Covid cases up slightly

COVID-19 is still present in Te Tairāwhiti, including two people who are in hospital.

Te Whatu Ora Tairāwhiti has reported that cases are up slightly in the district with a daily average of 12.6.

Between three and 22 cases have been reported every day this past week.

The Elgin Whānau Day is on this Sunday at Cobham School from 10am to 2pm.

On offer will be Covid, flu and childhood immunisations.

The Community Vaccination and RATs Collection Centre at 295 Palmerston Road is open weekdays, 9am to 4.30pm for Covid-19 vaccinations, free RATs and masks.
