MetService says southwesterly weather will deliver noticeably lower temperatures, with a top daytime temperature of only 15 degrees on Wednesday.
Overnight the mercury is forecast to fall to 8 degrees.
The drop will make it

The 24th and 25th were cool days, with the 24th having a daytime high of 19.1 and an overnight low of 8.1 for a daily mean of just 13.6. — RH
