Gisborne Herald photographer Liam Clayton took this stunning shot of thunderclouds over the ocean from the Chalet at Okitu before sunset. This was one of several great photos he took including a rainbow from the Titirangi lookout and a lone surfer walking across the sand with dark thunder clouds in the distance at Wainui. Meanwhile, Rocket Lab has announced it will be launching more storm-chasing satellites for NASA from its Mahia spaceport later this month. The mission is called Coming To A Storm Near You.
