Some serious heavy lifting was needed this morning after a contractor's vehicle carrying a massive rock crusher overturned as it negotiated the Waipaoa River roundabout.
The big rig tipped on to its side after one of the tyres on the truck's tractor unit blew out.
The two men in thedriving compartment were unhurt.
It happened at around 6am this morning as the rig headed south.
The highway remained open to one lane until heavy lifters CR Taylor Ltd and Stone Transport and Hiabs were in position with cranes to right the overturned rig.
