New Zealand Apples and Pears will host a grower consultation meeting in Gisborne on Monday.

NZAPI has agreed to open the meetings up to all HortNZ growers, with chief executive Nadine Tunley in attendance to speak to HortNZ’s work programme, future plans, and the upcoming commodity levy referendum.

The meeting will be at the Bushmere Arms at Waerenga-a-Hika at 5pm on Monday.

Those attending should register at this link: https://nzapi.wufoo.com/forms/s9z69o4127ojo4/

“You do not have to be a member of NZAPI to attend. Everyone is welcome and Nadine hopes to see you there,” a HortNZ spokesman said.
