A109 Light Utility Helicopter flight with mayor Gisborne City from the air in November 2023.

I had to continually pinch myself as I sat in the War Memorial Theatre the other night, to be reassured that I was in Gisborne watching an amazing amateur production.
The production of Chicago by our Gizzy people could equally take its place on stages in destinations such as Tauranga, Napier,
Invercargill: in fact, any major city.
Congratulations to Dean McKerras, Sean Scanlan, Tim McAneney, Ben Chisholm and others for their stagecraft direction, management and musical expertise. This leadership combined with actors, singers, dancers and the myriad support people created a spectacle not to be missed.
Thank you all for creating a stunning memory that joins my list of “specials”.
