Scientists discover that fragments of a comet will hit Earth in a few days, and will likely cause the extinction of humanity. The only hope for anyone to survive is a group of bunkers in Greenland. John Garrity (Gerard Butler, who also co-produced the film) struggles to ensure the safety of his wife and son as they journey across Greenland to get to the bunkers before it’s too late.
