Watties and Gisborne weather are part inspirations for two-piece Gisborne act Spaghetti Toast who celebrate the release of their debut EP on Saturday.
Ben Wilkinson of the Wilkinson and Liam Ryan duo cites influences from across the pop-rock eras ob their original music — The Beatles, Tame Impala, Mac Demarco,
Connan Mockasin, soul and disco music. Expect psych-pop-rock, bass octave guitar pedals, drums and cymbals, reverbed vocals, and good times. Limited edition CDs will also be available. Spaghetti Toast will be joined by support act Shifty Peaks, an instrumental act.
