ZARA Staples has hit the big time. Last month the young Gisborne photographer shot a collection of Dame Trelise Cooper’s winter fashions in Hawke’s Bay.
Zara, 17, worked with models, Alanna McDonald, Tasia Pishief, Tayla Winters and Katie Parsons and budding stylist and fashion designer Georgia Smith from 9am until
4pm at a variety of different locations in Hawke’s Bay.
“It was a long day but the time goes really fast when I’m taking photos and it’s exciting to look at the images later and see how they’ve come out,” says Zara who has received high praise from one of Cooper’s head designers.
“She said my photographs were the best she had seen in New Zealand and to get them up on Instagram as soon as possible. I was stoked to say the least.”
