BROTHER and sister duo Leroy and Anna Ma’s Wednesday recital at Tiromoana, Wainui, marks the beginning of a series of three concerts of young rising stars of the piano.

The two prize-winning sibling pianists are studying in the Rising Stars programme at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.

Leroy recently placed third in a major international competition for young pianists in Russia. He and Anna will play solo works by Janacek, Debussy, Chopin, Beethoven and Liszt and a four-hands piece by Schubert.
