The poignant experience of visiting an older couple struggling to move on because the family home was embedded with memories inspired Monty Bevins’ new single, Lovers Again.

The folk/roots/soul troubadour celebrates the release of the song as part of his Lovers Again tour that brings him to Gisborne next Thursday.

While here, he will be joined by musician Paul Jackson, his tour will span small towns to cities, theatres to bicycle shops.

Bevins’ songs are said to ask the big questions while telling the small stories.

Monty Bevins performs at The Dome on May 17 at 7pm. Presale tickets $10 from Aviary, Raglan Roast, or www.montybevins.com.
