I wish to find from temporal view

A template to scribe my life anew

A dictionary of natures words

Like ‘sky of blue', and ‘ flock of birds'

Like ‘sea of green' and ‘granite peaks'

Like the ‘eternity' which my soul seeks

The promise of ‘the tides return'

The ‘cool moonlight and noon-suns burn'

I wish that I could see afar

Beyond the moon and nearest star

Then perhaps I'd know, perhaps I'd see

Am I part of it, or is it part of me?
