Swiss-Kiwi electro-folk artist Sonic Delusion brings his pop-drenched, funky and folk looped beats from his upcoming album Anything Goes.

After more than 10 years in the business Andre Manella still digs the challenge of building up a song in front of a live audience with his Latin-infused, electroacoustic folk.

His sound has been described as too funky for folk and too folky for funk.

Whatever it is, it’s upbeat, no question.

The third single from the album Hey Trouble is a cool, quirky love song about meeting someone, throwing caution to the wind and allowing yourself to imagine the life that could follow.

Since Sonic Delusion began touring in 2013 his career has taken him to shows in New Zealand, Australia, Switzerland and Germany, including several international festivals.

Renowned for his unorthodox gig venues he has performed at venues that range from a purpose-built stage on the roof of his family’s house bus, a shop roof, a lake, to multiple gigs in lounges around the country, and now the Dome.
