Escape from Mogadishu
Based-on-fact story of rival diplomats from North Korea and South Korea becoming trapped as civil war rages in Mogadishu, Somalia. With no aid from either government, their only shot at survival requires them to work with one another. Director Ryoo Seung-wan has earned plaudits for the pacing and tone of the movie. One critic says the film offers “yet more proof that Korea is producing some of the most absorbing cinematic and televisual storytelling in the world today”.
A Hero
Iranian film that has Rahim (Amir Jadidi) in prison because of a debt he was unable to repay. During a two-day leave, he tries to convince his creditor (Mohsen Tanabandeh) to withdraw his complaint against the payment of part of the sum. But things don't go as planned.
