The Lego Ninjago Movie (3D, 2D): Computer-animated comedy martial arts spin-off from The Lego Movie. Story focuses on Lloyd Garmadon, leader of a group of teenagers being trained by an old ninja master to protect the city.
The Emoji Movie (3D, 2D): Gene lives in Textopolis, a digital city inside the phone of his user, Alex. A multi-expressional emoji, Gene wants to be a normal meh emoji like his parents, but faces obstacles.
Victoria & Abdul: Queen Victoria (Judi Dench) and young Indian clerk Abdul Karim (Ali Fazal) form a friendship that the royal household and inner circle try to destroy. Also stars Eddie Izzard, Tim Pigott-Smith and Michael Gambon.

American Made: Tom Cruise plays a pilot and drug smuggler recruited by the Drug Enforcement Administration.
DOME CINEMA
A Date for Mad Mary: Mary comes home from prison to find her best friend is getting married and she is to be maid of honour. Denied a “plus one” invitation because her friend says she probably couldn’t find a date. Mary sets out to prove her wrong.
Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets: Corrosive mass threatens 28th-century space metropolis housing species from a thousand planets. Space agents are sent to investigate.
God’s Own Country: A young Yorkshire farmer, emotionally shut off through drink and the need to keep the family farm going, gets help at lambing time in the form of a Romanian migrant worker, and must confront feelings of love for the first time.
Spookers: Florian Habicht documentary about the horror theme park occupying the old Kingseat psychiatric hospital in Auckland. Former sheep farmers Beth and Andy Watson, and daughter Julia, are the proprietors of the sprawling four-location destination where actors scare the daylights out of visitors.
The Free Man: Documentary directed by Toa Fraser (The Dead Lands) and built around encounters between Kiwi freestyle skier Jossi Wells and The Flying Frenchies, known for their base jumps, wingsuit flying and tightrope walks.
