Phantom Thread: Daniel Day-Lewis plays a 1950s London dressmaker whose life is turned upside down by a younger woman. Vicky Krieps as the lover and Lesley Manville as the dressmaker’s sister also star.
Molly’s Game: Jessica Chastain stars in this film about Olympic-class skier Molly Bloom, who ran a high-stakes poker game for a decade until the FBI arrested her. Aaron Sorkin wrote the screenplay, from Bloom’s book, and directed.
